Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking an Environmental Engineer III to support projects at our Anchorage, Fairbanks, Post Falls, Salt Lake City, and Portland offices. You will apply environmental engineering principles to collect, synthesize, and document data for compliance tasks across stormwater, wastewater, air quality, and waste regulations.

The role includes field support, preparation and review of permits and reports, and mentorship of junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field.
• 7–15 years of experience in environmental projects.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.
• ArcGIS experience preferred.
• Hazardous Waste Operations certification preferred.
• Experience with health and safety functions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate data collection with environmental technicians and staff.
• Provide technical guidance and oversee project documentation.
• Review and update environmental permits, plans, and reports.
• Lead and mentor project staff; act as technical liaison for clients.
• Support the safety culture and field operations.
