Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC seeks an Environmental Engineer III to join our Anchorage or Fairbanks team, with opportunities in Post Falls, ID, Salt Lake City, UT, or Portland, ME. You will collect, synthesize, and document data on environmental compliance tasks, including stormwater, wastewater, air quality, and waste regulations.

You will mentor staff, support field efforts, and help prepare permits and regulatory reports while advancing toward Project Manager responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or other engineering discipline.
• Seven to fifteen years of experience working on environmental projects.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
• Ability to pass a drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per regulations.
• Collaborate with environmental technicians on data collection and evaluation.
• Provide technical guidance and documentation support to project staff.
• Review permits, plans, and regulatory documents for compliance.
• Lead and mentor junior staff and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
