Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC seeks an Environmental Engineer III to join our Anchorage or Fairbanks team. You will collect, synthesize, and document data for compliance tasks across stormwater, wastewater, air quality, and waste regulations. Field support and mentorship of junior staff are expected as you advance toward project management.

The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory expertise, and collaboration with project managers and clients to ensure high-quality environmental solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field required.
• 7–15 years of environmental project experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations required.
• Pass drug and background screening.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate vehicle as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups under regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate data collection with field staff and assess data for project objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight for project documentation.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.
• Develop and review environmental permits, plans, and regulatory reports.
• Lead the writing and review of technical documentation and client liaison.
