Brice Engineering LLC in the United States is seeking an Environmental Engineer III to join our team across multiple locations including Portland, ME; Anchorage, AK; Salt Lake City, UT; Fairbanks, AK; Post Falls, ID. You will collect, synthesize, and document data for environmental compliance projects.

The role focuses on stormwater, wastewater, air quality, and permit preparation, with mentorship of junior staff and opportunities to advance toward project management or technical advisor roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field.
• 7–15 years of environmental project experience.
• Broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per guidelines.
• Collaborate with environmental technicians in data collection and evaluation.
• Provide technical guidance and assist in preparing written project documentation.
• Review processes for permits, plans, and reports to ensure compliance.
• Lead a proactive safety culture and mentor junior staff.
• Support project planning and responses to RFPs.
• Lead a team and coordinate multi-disciplinary groups.
