Job summary

Global Specialty Chemicals Company is seeking a Sr Environmental Engineer for its Houston, TX facility. You will manage environmental programs, LDAR, sampling, reporting, and regulatory compliance to meet ISO and RCMS standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with agencies, training plant personnel, and driving sustainability KPIs. Requires strong regulatory knowledge and SAP/MS Office proficiency in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Environmental or Chemical Engineering and 5 years of progressive experience in environmental programs.
• Alternative degree with 10+ years in manufacturing env. preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Federal/State/Local environmental regs and permit conditions.
• Experience with regulatory reporting and agency communications.
• Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage LDAR monitoring program and quarterly TO/Flare testing.
• Oversee waste disposal and environmental budgets.
• Prepare reports and notices per federal, state, and local regs.
• Provide training and guidance to plant personnel on compliance.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and attend relevant seminars.
