Job summary

The role requires a strong understanding of EPA/TCEQ rules, OSHA, and local codes, plus excellent communication and project management skills to drive environmental performance across operations.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Environmental or Chemical Engineering; 5 years in environmental programs in manufacturing.
• Alternative degree plus 10+ years of manufacturing environmental experience is acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of Federal/state/local regulations (EPA/TCEQ) and permit requirements.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills; ability to communicate with agencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental programs to ensure 100% compliance with applicable laws, permits, and corporate standards.
• Prepare and submit accurate reports and notices on time; communicate permit requirements to plant personnel.
• Coordinate testing activities and environmental sampling as needed to meet regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and training to plant personnel on regulatory matters; support projects with environmental reviews.
• Engage with regulatory agencies and participate in seminars/meetings as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering

Alternative: Environmental Science or Chemistry degree with 10+ years of manufacturing experience
