Job summary

HGL (HydroGeoLogic, Inc.) is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to support office in Conshohocken, PA, with remote/hybrid flexibility. The role focuses on environmental remediation, design support, and project oversight for federal and state clients across the eastern United States.

You will lead remedial investigations, design support, and RA oversight, with opportunities to advance to project management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in environmental engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
• Direct experience with contaminated-site investigation, remedial design, and oversight.
• Strong writing skills for technical reports and work plans.
• Coordination of field subcontractors on investigation/remediation.
• Engineer-in-Training certification required before start date.
• OSHA HAZWOPER certification.
• Ability to adopt new technologies and digital tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical reviews of engineering studies, plans, designs, and specs for environmental investigation/remediation.
• Interface with program/project managers, government customers, and RA Contractors.
• Develop technical skills for long-term growth and development.
• Manage characterization/remediation projects for Federal clients; oversee budgets, scope, schedule.
• Mentor junior/mid-level staff (engineers, geologists, scientists).
• Lead project teams to meet objectives per client expectations.
• Communicate with clients, regulators, and project teams; support deliverables.
