Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering seeks an experienced Department Manager for Environmental Due Diligence and Compliance. You will lead a senior team, manage high‑volume projects, and coordinate with corporate leadership to support growth and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations, hands-on experience with Phase I/II ESAs, and a track record in compliance auditing and permitting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related technical discipline required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in geotechnical and/or environmental consulting with leadership experience.
• 3+ years of team leadership or management experience in a consulting or corporate environment.
• Professional registration (PE, PG, CHMM, or similar) strongly preferred.
• Advanced understanding of federal and state environmental regulations (CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, CAA, EPCRA).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Environmental Services Department focused on due diligence and compliance service lines.
• Supervise and mentor a team of environmental professionals across multiple project types.
• Oversee workload allocation, performance reviews, and hiring.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, defensible reports to clients and attorneys.
• Coordinate with leadership on resource planning, service line strategy, and business goals.
