BUNNELL LAMMONS ENGINEERING is seeking a Department Manager for Environmental Due Diligence and Compliance in Alpharetta, GA. This senior role leads a multidisciplinary team, oversees Phase I/II activities, and drives regulatory compliance across real estate and corporate clients.

The ideal candidate has a strong environmental regulation background, extensive due diligence experience, and proven leadership, with a track record in client management and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related technical discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in geotechnical or environmental consulting with leadership and project management.
• 3+ years of team leadership in a consulting or corporate environment.
• Professional registration (PE, PG, CHMM) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Environmental Services Department with a focus on due diligence and compliance.
• Supervise, mentor, and support a team of environmental professionals across projects.
• Oversee workload allocation, training, performance reviews, and hiring.
• Promote technical excellence and professional development.
• Oversee Phase I ESAs (ASTM E1527-21) and Phase II investigations.
• Manage client relationships and business development activities.
