Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Environmental Safety Leader to direct the development, planning, and implementation of comprehensive safety programs across facilities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will coordinate sustainability initiatives, oversee waste management, pollution control, and renewable energy efforts, and report performance to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Safety Management, Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Management or related field.
• Five years of experience in related safety field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Direct development and implementation of environmental safety programs and policies across facilities.
• Coordinate sustainability efforts including pollution control, waste management and renewable energy.
• Audit, analyze and report environmental safety performance to senior leadership and regulators.
• Identify and mitigate environmental safety risks and financial impacts.
• Train staff at all levels on environmental safety responsibilities.
• Develop and monitor environmental safety metrics to measure program effectiveness.
• Provide guidance to Advocate Facilities on environmental safety matters.
