Advocate Health is seeking an experienced leader to design, implement and manage its enterprise-wide industrial hygiene program. You will supervise a team of certified IH professionals, conduct exposure assessments and ensure safety across facilities.

You will ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA and Joint Commission standards, analyze data, prepare leadership reports and drive continuous improvement through training, process improvements and budget oversight.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial hygiene or occupational health and safety.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and exposure limits.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of IH professionals.
• Proven ability to analyze data and recommend corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and training skills.

Aufgaben

• Supervise projects related to environmental exposures to chemical and physical hazards to ensure safety and timeliness.
• Oversee maintenance and communication of exposure records.
• Analyze data and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Prepare reports for leadership on trends, risks and improvements.
• Monitor workplace hazards and track action items.
• Perform onsite investigations for indoor air quality issues across the enterprise.
• Conduct risk assessments for chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
• Provide industrial hygiene expertise to departments, projects and contractors.
• Coordinate IH-related training and oversight of equipment usage.
• Review IH equipment needs for all markets.
• Represent Advocate Health to regulatory and compliance agencies as needed.
• Regularly update IH policies to reflect changing regulations.
• Design and lead IH team development, set expectations and manage performance.
• May develop operating and capital budgets within approved objectives.
• Ensure compliance with ethical conduct across the organization.
