Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Management, Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance or related degree.
• Minimum three years’ experience in related safety field.
• Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, DOT regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct development, planning and implementation of environmental safety programs, policies and procedures for regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate sustainability aspects: pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation and renewable energy.
• Perform auditing, analyzing and reporting environmental safety performances to Senior Leadership and regulators.
• Identify and reduce risks and financial costs through impact assessments.
• Train staff on environmental safety issues and responsibilities and promote awareness across the organization.
• Develop environmental safety metrics to measure program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with facilities leadership regarding Environmental Safety.
