Advocate Health seeks a seasoned Environmental Safety leader to direct development and execution of safety programs across federal, state and local regulations. The role oversees sustainability efforts including pollution control, waste management and renewable energy initiatives.

With a 40-hour work week in a hybrid environment, the candidate will provide training, auditing, reporting and performance metrics while interacting with senior leadership and facility teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required in safety-related field.
• Five (5) years’ experience in related safety field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Aufgaben

• Direct development and implementation of environmental safety programs per regulations.
• Coordinate sustainability: pollution control, waste management, recycling, EH, conservation, renewable energy.
• Audit, analyze and report environmental safety performance to senior leadership and regulators.
• Identify and reduce risks and costs through impact assessments.
• Train staff on environmental safety issues across the organization.
• Develop environmental safety metrics and report them to leadership.
• Advise facilities on environmental safety matters.
