Job summary

Acuity Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager Environmental Health and Safety in hybrid Atlanta operations. You will drive corporate and site EHS strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead incident investigations across distribution and manufacturing sites.

The role requires 8–10 years in manufacturing EHS, OSHA knowledge, and multisite experience. You will collaborate with shop floor leaders, train teams, and coordinate audits while advancing a safe and healthy workplace across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EHS or related field required.
• EHS certifications (ASP, CSP, CIH) preferred.
• 8–10 years manufacturing EHS experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and incident investigation skills (RCAs).
• Comfort using computers and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to read and interpret regulatory documents.
• Strong presentation and staff communication skills.
• Ability to write reports and procedures.
• Multisite distribution/manufacturing experience (CA, Canada, Mexico).

Responsibilities

• Align corporate and local EHS goals at site level.
• Governance and compliance management for safety, health, environment.
• Manage emergency response and support shop floor leaders.
• Implement waste tracking and reduce environmental impact.
• Develop site activities to boost engagement.
• Develop and implement annual EHS programs and trainings.
• Document EHS topics using MOC for changes.
• Attend audits and government inspections.
• Manage near misses and incidents; perform root-cause analysis.
• Share data and improvements with Focus Factories; work with factory managers.
• Provide support as needed.
