Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking an Environmental Compliance Leader to manage and evolve regulatory programs across ADUSA locations. The role leads a team of environmental professionals and partners with corporate facilities and distribution centers to ensure adherence to CERCLA, RCRA, Clean Water Act, EPCRA, TSCA, FIFRA and NESHAPS.

The position offers a hybrid work model with in-person collaboration at core locations and remote work on select days, plus opportunities to influence sustainability

Qualifications

• Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations.
• Experience managing multiple environmental and safety projects.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with vendor-client management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing or implement new environmental compliance programs at corporate facilities.
• Support distribution centers with compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor new regulations and develop new programming as needed.
• Develop processes for managing and storing critical environmental data.
• Engage partners to identify improvement opportunities and reduce costs.
• Integrate environmental compliance into company strategy and accountability.
• Develop and deliver training on program requirements and schedules.
• Create dashboards showing regulatory and waste trends enterprise-wide.
• Perform environmental assessments of facilities to ensure compliance.
• Represent ADUSA at conferences and benchmark with peers.
• Present environmental topics to Operations and other partners.
