ERM in Overland Park, Kansas seeks a Senior Consultant, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Generalist. You will join a global sustainability team, supporting clients across industries with compliance, remediation, and due diligence projects.

Travel to client locations is common, and you will collaborate with Project Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality EHS solutions. The role emphasizes fieldwork, data collection, and technical reporting, with opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in engineering, environmental science or related field; GPA 3.25+ or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of environmental experience or internships.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work outdoors in varied conditions.
• Detail-oriented with solid written/verbal communication and data reporting skills.
• Experience handling technical data, tables, and spreadsheets.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical assistance on EHS compliance, sustainability, site investigation and remediation projects.
• Prepare plans, permits, and reports for hazardous waste, air quality, hazardous material management, oil spill prevention, NPDES programs.
• Perform environmental compliance assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Provide on-site EHS support to clients as needed.
• Conduct Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for property transactions.
• Perform fieldwork including sampling, drilling, well installation, and system maintenance.
• Compile environmental data and assist in technical report preparation.
• Manage multiple projects within scope, budget and schedule.

Formation

BS in engineering, environmental science or related field

2 to 5 years of relevant environmental experience

Excellent written and verbal communication

Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
