Dyno Nobel, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead local environmental compliance initiatives, policies, and programs, ensuring adherence to regulations and sustainable development goals.

The role oversees reporting, regulatory monitoring, and planning for regulatory changes impacting operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Engineering, Physical Science, Environmental Science or related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience with environmental regulations in chemical industries.
• Technical understanding of chemical manufacturing processes.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, SAP.
• Working knowledge of local, state and federal environmental regulations; NPDES, EPCRA, SPCC/SWPPP.
• Ability to read and understand general engineering drawings.
• Positive attitude, team player.

Responsabilités

• Ensure all required reports are completed and submitted to government agencies as required.
• Review new and existing environmental regulations and advise management to ensure full compliance.
• Monitor company compliance through discharge reports, hazardous waste reports, surveys and other documents submitted to regulatory agencies.
• Advise management on anticipated regulatory changes and prepare compliance strategies that may require significant capital investment or cost increases.
• Assist Engineering and Operations in planning for compliance with regulations for new or modified operations.
• Conduct training for operating personnel to meet regulatory, safety and business needs.
• Draft or assist in permit renewals, responses to notices of deficiency, notices of violations, surveys and other information requests from environmental agencies.
• Obtain Legal Department input on major permits and violations to assure full compliance.
