Job summary

Dyno Nobel Inc. is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead local environmental compliance and sustainability programs.

You will oversee regulatory adherence, manage reporting to government agencies, and guide compliance strategies aligned with business goals. The role requires 7+ years in chemical-regulatory environments, a BS or higher in a related field (CHMM preferred), and strong project-management plus IT skills (MS Office, Teams, SAP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering, Physical Science, Environmental Science or related technical field; CHMM preferred.
• 7+ years experience with environmental regulations relating to chemical industries.
• Technical understanding of chemical manufacturing and processes.
• Project management competency; advanced computer skills (MS Office, Teams, SAP).
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations (NPDES, EPCRA, SPCC, SWPPP). Reading engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage and drive local implementation of environmental compliance programs.
• Ensure required reports are submitted to government agencies.
• Advise on regulatory changes and prepare compliance strategies.
• Assist engineering and operations in planning compliance for new or modified operations.
• Conduct training for operating personnel on regulatory and safety needs.
