Job summary

Westlake in Calvert City, KY, is seeking an experienced HSE professional to join the PEM team as an individual contributor responsible for developing and coordinating policies, procedures, and proactive management systems to ensure environmental compliance and continuous improvement at the Calvert City facility. The role requires collaboration with site manufacturing units and acts under the Sr.

Manager - HSE guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or related field.
• 10 years of progressive environmental, operations, maintenance, or engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations for petrochemical plants.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership within Calvert City HSE Team.
• Collaborate with manufacturing stakeholders to drive site improvements.
• Coordinate CERCLA / Remediation Project activities.
• Interact with government officials and counsel as required.
• Ensure compliance and continuous improvement of environmental policy.
