Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Senior Environmental Compliance Manager to join the Redmond, WA team. You will lead environmental compliance programs for heavy‑civil, rail, and transit projects, coordinating with Sound Transit, WSDOT, contractors, and regulators to keep work on schedule.

The role demands 10+ years in construction‑phase environmental compliance, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and certifications such as CPESC or PWS.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in construction-phase environmental compliance.
Experience with heavy‑civil, rail, and transit construction in Washington State.
Relevant certifications such as CPESC, PWS, or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead environmental compliance programs for Sound Transit, WSDOT, and local agency projects.
Interpret and implement permits, approvals, and commitments for complex capital projects.
Coordinate with regulatory agencies during construction and manage environmental risk.
Develop and manage Construction Environmental Management Plans and tracking systems.
Conduct site inspections, monitoring, and environmental training for field staff.
Mentor junior environmental staff and support field team development.
