Job summary

Atlas is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead project-specific quality efforts on major transportation, transit, water, aviation, and heavy civil infrastructure programs in the Redmond, WA area.

You will manage QA programs, oversee testing and inspection, coordinate resources, and ensure staff training and certification. This role requires hands-on oversight on site and strong collaboration with owners and contractors to deliver safe, compliant, and timely results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering.
• PE license is required.
• Minimum 15 years of heavy civil construction inspection experience.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with project-management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage project construction QA programs.
• Oversee QA testing and inspection, scheduling resources daily/weekly.
• Provide training to ensure quality procedures via pre-activity meetings and on-site reviews.
• Ensure all quality inspector staff have appropriate training and certification.
• Verify sampling/testing personnel have training and certification.
• Maintain a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) log.
• Maintain utility relocations inspection information.
• Develop and maintain a list of lab equipment, calibration data, and inspection dates.
• Schedule Hold Points as audits of ongoing construction work.
• Coordinate with owner quality verification testing, inspection, and Independent Assurance requirements.
