Job summary
WSB is seeking a Sr. Compliance Specialist to provide advanced environmental compliance expertise for construction, infrastructure, transportation, and municipal projects.
The role ensures regulatory compliance, permits, inspections, and documentation across multiple projects, serving as a senior technical resource and mentoring junior staff. The position requires a Bachelor's in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of environmental compliance experience, with willingness to travel and work
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or closely related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of environmental compliance experience.
- Experience interpreting regulations and permit requirements.
- Experience with SWPPPs, NPDES, and regulatory documentation.
- Strong coordination with agencies, municipalities, and project teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced regulatory support for environmental compliance programs and projects.
- Interpret and apply environmental regulations, permit requirements, agency guidance, and contractual environmental commitments.
- Coordinate SWPPP development, permitting, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
- Review environmental plans, permit applications, and related documentation.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with permits and commitments.
- Travel within assigned territory and to project sites as required.
