Job summary

International Wire Group seeks an experienced Environmental Manager for its Inman, SC facility. You will lead environmental compliance and serve as the primary liaison with SC DES, EPA, and local agencies, shaping programs for air quality, water, and waste management.

You will oversee registrations, reporting, and inspections, coordinating with engineering, maintenance, and operations to ensure timely, compliant operations. Strong regulatory knowledge and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in environmental science/engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing or regulated settings.
• Experience with RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, EPCRA, Tier II, TRI and DOT hazmat regulations.
• Ability to prepare regulatory reports and maintain compliance documentation for inspections.
• Strong organization and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the facility’s primary environmental contact for SC DES, EPA, and other agencies.
• Maintain the environmental compliance calendar and ensure timely inspections, monitoring, and reporting.
• Lead regulatory inspections, audits, information requests, and compliance matters.
• Prepare and submit environmental incident and non-compliance notifications within deadlines.
• Coordinate with plant leadership, Engineering, Maintenance, and vendors to ensure ongoing compliance.
