Job summary

International Wire Group is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Manager to oversee the industrial wastewater treatment operations at its Inman, SC facility. This role requires hands-on leadership for ensuring regulatory compliance and treatment performance in nickel and silver electroplating processes.

The successful candidate will manage treatment chemistry, sampling, reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration with Environmental, Engineering, Maintenance, and Plating Operations to optimize flows,

Qualifications

• Five or more years of hands-on wastewater treatment operating experience.
• Strong knowledge of physical and chemical wastewater treatment processes.
• Experience preparing regulatory reports and maintaining wastewater treatment records.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel-based logs, reporting, and data tracking.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operation of the wastewater treatment system, including pH/ORP control and metals precipitation.
• Maintain and certify monthly Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMR) and Self Monitoring Reports.
• Lead operators and coordinate training to build technical capability.
• Develop operators toward state wastewater certifications through training and exam prep.
• Support capital projects to increase reliability and performance.
