Job summary

Ferrovial Construction US Corp. seeks an Environmental Compliance Project Director to oversee environmental aspects of a major highway project in the Greater Nashville area.

You will lead inspections, permit strategies, and EMS maintenance, coordinating with owner and agencies to ensure NEPA and state requirements are met. The role emphasizes preparing plans, leading teams, and maintaining compliance through detailed design and construction, with strong communication and leadership skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in environmental science or related field.
• Minimum of five years of highway infrastructure environmental lead experience.
• Experience with environmental government approvals (USACE 404, NEPA, TN ARAP/401).
• Strong leadership, coordination, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental aspects during design and construction of a major highway project.
• Prepare technical documents for environmental approvals and BOQ reviews.
• Develop and manage SWPPP and Environmental Protection Plan components.
• Engage with Owner, agencies, and public on environmental permits and mitigation.
