Job summary

EnSafe in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Environmental Project/Client Manager to lead complex environmental and geologic projects. You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets while maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating field activities.

The role requires a strong track record in environmental consulting, regulatory knowledge, and demonstrated leadership. Travel as needed, with opportunities for career growth in a collaborative, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional environmental consulting experience.
• HAZWOPER training (40-hour, current).
• Experience with multi-media environmental sampling and site assessments (Phase I/II).
• Strong technical writing and report submittals.
• Project management experience incl. budgets, schedules, and client comms.
• Ability to lead project teams and manage client expectations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple environmental and geologic projects, maintaining scope, schedule, budget, quality objectives, and client relationships.
• Oversee field activities, documentation, subcontractor coordination, and safety compliance.
• Coordinate environmental site assessments, subsurface investigations, and remediation activities.
• Provide senior-level oversight of field activities, data interpretation, and conclusions.
• Prepare, review, and approve reports, work plans, proposals, and regulatory submittals.
• Apply regulatory knowledge to meet federal, state, and local requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, staff, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff and support technical development across teams.
• Lead business development through client engagement and proposals.
