Job summary

Ferrovial Construction US Corp. is seeking an Environmental Compliance Project Director to oversee environmental aspects from design through construction of a major highway project in the Greater Nashville area.

The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and coordination with authorities to ensure compliance with environmental permits and standards. You will develop and manage plans like the EPP and SWPPP, supervise environmental teams, and lead efforts to minimize risks while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in field related to Environmental Science.
• Minimum of five (5) years of highway transportation infrastructure experience as an Environmental Compliance Lead or functional equivalent.
• Certifications in OSHA 30 Hour, HAZWOPER 40 Hour preferred; TN certifications may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage environmental aspects during detailed design and construction.
• Prepare technical documents for environmental permits and approvals.
• Develop and monitor Environmental Protection Plan (EPP) and SWPPP.
• Coordinate with Owner and agencies on environmental permits and NEPA processes.
• Manage erosion control supervisors and environmental training for staff.
