Job summary

EnSafe is seeking a Senior Environmental Project/Client Manager for our Nashville, TN office. This role leads complex environmental and geologic projects, mentors teams, and supports business development while ensuring client satisfaction.

You will manage field activities, regulatory compliance, and technical reporting, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and growth within a dynamic, employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional environmental consulting experience with strong knowledge of Tennessee and federal environmental regulations.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training (current).
• Experience with environmental site assessments (Phase I/II), remediation, and regulatory submittals.
• Strong technical writing skills with reports and regulatory submittals.
• Experience managing projects on budgets, schedules, and client communications.
• Willingness to travel, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple environmental and geologic projects while managing scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships.
• Oversee field activities, including documentation, subcontractor coordination, and safety.
• Plan environmental site assessments, subsurface investigations, and remediation activities.
• Provide senior technical review of field activities, data interpretation, and conclusions.
• Prepare, review, and approve technical reports, work plans, proposals, and regulatory submittals.
• Apply regulatory knowledge to meet federal, state, and local requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff and support technical development across teams.
• Lead business development through client engagement and proposals.
