Job summary

Entergy is seeking an Environmental Analyst II - Sr to support compliance at Renewable Project sites with hands-on onsite involvement. You will guide project teams, maintain permits, prepare regulatory reports, and ensure corrective actions where gaps are found.

The role includes spill response, waste handling, sampling coordination, training delivery, and records management. Travel 25–50%; requires a Bachelor's in Environmental Science and 5–6 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an environmental field or equivalent work experience.
• 0-2 years for Analyst I-II; 3-5 years for Analyst III; 5-6 years for Sr.
• Experience with environmental permits, reporting, and compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on environmental issues to project and site personnel.
• Support regulatory compliance and inspections to ensure completion of permit conditions.
• Maintain knowledge of project and site-specific environmental permits and plans.
• Conduct inspections to assess compliance, document findings, and close gaps.
• Prepare regulatory required environmental reports.
• Maintain environmental records and documentation for projects and sites.
• Deliver environmental training to project and site personnel.
• Provide environmental compliance support for spills/releases and notifications.
• Manage waste handling and disposal, and manifesting activities.
• Coordinate environmental sampling and testing per regulations and permits.
• Participate in work groups to support projects and improvements.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Manage records of compliance programs per retention policy.
