Job summary

Entergy is seeking an Environmental Analyst II - Sr to support regulatory compliance at renewable project sites. The role provides expert guidance to project teams, conducts inspections, and maintains permits and records.

You will deliver training, respond to spills, manage waste, and coordinate sampling to ensure environment and regulatory adherence. The position requires 0-6 years of experience depending on level, a relevant degree, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 0-2 years for Analyst Environmental I-II; 3-5 years for Analyst Environmental III; 5-6 years for Analyst Environmental Sr.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to project and site personnel regarding environmental issues.
• Support projects and sites to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain knowledge of project/site environmental permits and plans.
• Conduct inspections to assess compliance and close gaps.
• Prepare regulatory environmental reports.
• Maintain environmental records and documentation.
• Deliver environmental training to personnel as required.
• Respond to spills and releases and notify as required by regulations.
• Manage waste handling and disposal and manifesting activities.
• Coordinate environmental sampling and testing per regulations.
• Participate in work groups to support projects.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities.
• Manage records related to compliance programs.
