Consumers Energy is Michigan’s largest energy provider, serving 6.8 million residents. The Senior Environmental Analyst conducts data-driven analysis to ensure compliance with environmental laws and to develop policy recommendations.

Responsibilities include budget analysis, trend forecasting, and supporting management with implementation of improvements. The role requires a Bachelor’s or equivalent experience, ability to supervise, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in environmental analysis.
• Associate degree with 6+ years in environmental analysis.
• High school diploma or GED with 8+ years in environmental analysis.

Responsibilities

• Ensure environmental data collection and reporting complies with policy and state regulations.
• Monitor operational processes and perform analyses.
• Perform moderately complex assignments/analyses.
• Analyze and report on budgets to management.
• Mentor less experienced team members on data collection and analysis.
• Support data collection for internal and external reporting.
• Assist with miscellaneous duties as needed.
