Job summary

Consumers Energy is seeking a Senior Engineering Technical Analyst to develop and improve standards and geospatial data models supporting MAOP, Class Location, and regulatory reporting. You will lead projects, ensure data quality, and coordinate with engineering, operations, and technology teams to drive accurate asset information across GIS platforms.

The role requires strong ArcGIS expertise, data analysis skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Or an Associate's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Or a High School diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with engineering projects including design, inspections, planning, permits, and field investigations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards; prepare reports and documents.
• Maintain and govern GIS data quality, validation, and asset synchronization across systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams.
