Entergy is seeking an Environmental Analyst to develop and implement processes ensuring compliance with environmental laws and regulations affecting the electrical utility sector. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willing to work with field investigations and site assessments.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations applicable to power generation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight to vendors conducting ecological impact evaluations and permit work with agencies.
  • Ensure environmental requirements are met during new generation unit commissioning and readiness reviews.
  • Support due diligence investigations for real estate transactions.
  • Interface with regulatory agencies to ensure proper permitting.
  • Monitor environmental laws and develop compliance strategies.
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on environmental issues.
  • Familiarity with site environmental permits and plans.
  • Prepare concise written and oral summaries for project management and leadership.
  • Participate in emergency environmental permitting for outages and storm events.
