Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; degree in Insurance- or Business-related field preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Understand TruStage’s enterprise business model and compliance risks
• Ability to adapt in a changing work environment and assist others in understanding changes to compliance processes
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Effective written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn related technology applications and systems
• Requires periodic travel to the Madison office, approximately 10% annual travel

Responsibilities

• Execute and improve assigned compliance processes to reduce enterprise compliance risk
• Manage end-to-end entity lifecycle activities, including formation, qualification, maintenance, and dissolution across multiple jurisdictions
• Prepare, review, and submit state regulatory filings, including annual reports, amendments, and licensing/registration documents
• Maintain accurate corporate records and supporting documentation for audit readiness
• Monitor jurisdictional requirements and regulatory changes and implement necessary updates
• Serve as a subject matter expert for entity management processes and guide internal stakeholders
• Coordinate with internal partners and external service providers, including registered agents and legal counsel
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and strengthen controls
• Support internal and external audits, regulatory exams, and information requests
• Maintain tracking tools and reporting for filing status, deadlines, and compliance metrics
• Research regulatory requirements and compliance risks
• Document compliance policies and implementation plans
• Perform quality assurance and audit practices to evaluate compliance process effectiveness
• Measure and report company performance in assigned compliance areas
• Communicate compliance risks, processes, and metrics to relevant stakeholders
• Develop risk mitigation strategies for new legal and compliance risks
• Use Microsoft Office applications and other assigned-process technology systems
• Perform assignments independently without daily oversight
