Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Legal/Compliance Support professional to assist the Office of General Counsel with regulatory compliance activities, policy governance, filings, audits, and legal research. The role involves drafting and maintaining compliance policies, managing calendars, and supporting license, privacy, and security compliance programs.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree, 3+ years in legal/compliance within financial services or insurance, superb research and communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years in legal, compliance, or regulatory support within insurance or financial services.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks: policy governance, training administration, filings, audits.
• Experience drafting, maintaining, and organizing compliance policies and documentation.
• Strong research, writing, and verbal communication with ability to summarize legal requirements clearly.
• Discretion handling confidential information with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Office of General Counsel for regulatory compliance activities, policy governance, regulatory monitoring, filings, audits, and legal research.
• Draft, update, and maintain compliance-related policies and procedures.
• Maintain compliance calendars with certifications, reviews, training cycles, and deadlines.
• Oversee IP filings under direction of Deputy General Counsel.
• Support Legal Department with scheduling, reporting, document management, and special projects.
• Support organization-wide compliance requirements including privacy and information security risks.
• Assist with regulatory filings, audits, change management, and inquiries from business units.
