Job summary

Merlin Entertainments in Texas is seeking an Entertainment Supervisor to support theatrical shows, experiences, and production elements across all phases, from pre-production to post-mortem.

You will lead rehearsals, cast and crew, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, ensure health and safety standards, and help develop SOPs for smooth operations; a proactive leader with a passion for guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in theatre/performing arts, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years in stage management, casting/auditioning, and production design or equivalent.
• 2+ years in theatrical/live entertainment show production and operation.
• Basic lighting, audio, SFX, scenic design, costuming, and staging knowledge.
• Ability to lead diverse theatrical teams and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist and lead tasks for an assigned production or entertainment experience from planning to performance.
• Supervise and mentor cast and crew; lead auditions and rehearsals as needed.
• Attend casting meetings, coordinate with internal/external teams and vendors.
• Maintain health and safety standards; ensure proper training and coaching.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for smooth operations.
• Manage schedules and timecards; serve as main contact during rehearsals and performances.
• Direct or supervise auditions, rehearsals, and cover for key roles as required.
• Support park and departmental goals, with emphasis on guest experience.
