Job summary

Merlin Entertainments in Grapevine, Texas is seeking a Retail Supervisor to lead frontline operations across the Retail Team, uphold safety and quality standards, and drive world-class guest service on the floor and during Duty Manager shifts.

You will mentor a diverse team, manage schedules and labor budgets, support merchandising and inventory control, and ensure performance against KPIs while delivering engaging guest experiences in a busy attraction environment.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required. College degree preferred.
• At least two years of supervisory experience in a retail environment, visitor attraction or retail outlet.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multitask as necessary.
• Excellent sales skills and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Be the best-in-class on-the-floor example of excellence in assigned commercial areas of the attraction.
• Lead the Retail Team to consistently deliver world-class experiences to our guests, as evidenced by KPI and Mystery Visit targets.
• Support delivery of training for Retail Team for safe, efficient operation of areas.
• Work with Retail Manager to implement labor budgets/schedules for day-types and seasonal needs.
• Support the Retail Manager with Merchandising and Inventory Control programs for the attraction.
• Lead the Retail Team to be Guest-Obsessed, positive, proactive, and FUN.
• Ensure high standards of service, cleanliness, safety, and technical operation are met by the Retail Team.
• Trained, willing, and able to serve as Duty Manager and perform other duties as assigned.
