Job summary

Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis seeks a strategic, scrappy Account Director to join its bi-coastal entertainment and events team. Located in Los Angeles, the role targets a leader with 8+ years of experience who thrives on premiere activations, global festival complexity, and talent representation.

You are the architect of narratives, leading campaigns with minimal oversight and guiding your team to over-deliver across platform-agnostic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of agency or industry experience.
• At least 2 years in a direct people-management role.
• Deep relationships with gatekeepers at People, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse roster of entertainment accounts (events, film/TV, podcasts, and brands) from start to finish as the primary strategic partner for clients.
• Architect comprehensive communications plans spanning traditional media, digital strategy, brand integration, and talent/influencer ecosystems.
• Leverage an extensive network to secure high-level placements and profiles.
• Direct, mentor, and train junior staff across geographies, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Proactively bring innovative ideas to drive offline engagement and online virality.
• Partner with senior leadership to craft winning proposals and identify growth opportunities.
• Oversee high-stakes event logistics including red carpets, press conferences, and industry summits.
