Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support and enhance our enterprise technology infrastructure across multiple offices. You will maintain reliability, security, and performance of systems, networks, and cloud platforms while partnering with stakeholders and vendors.

You will balance hands-on administration with project work, helping to drive infrastructure improvements and scalable solutions in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or equivalent experience.
• Four+ years administering enterprise systems and networks.
• Strong TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, VLANs, routing, switching, and firewall knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience supporting multiple office locations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives while maintaining high service levels.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise network infrastructure and security.
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity across multiple offices.
• Troubleshoot complex connectivity and infrastructure issues.
• Coordinate ISP installations, upgrades, and vendor escalations.
• Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, and licensing.
• Support servers, virtualization, storage, backups, and cloud infrastructure.
• Lead infrastructure projects and maintain documentation.
