Job summary

Motive is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer for the Enterprise team. You’ll partner with Account Executives to shape deal strategy, demonstrate Motive’s platform, and advise technical and business stakeholders. The role blends technical depth with business acumen and requires collaboration across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.

You’ll drive value-focused demos, map customer challenges to Motive’s solutions, and influence buying decisions while traveling ~30%+ as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise pre-sales or solutions engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree a plus.
• Willingness to travel 30%+.
• Knowledge of MEDDIC/MEDDPICC and Demo2Win/Great Demo! methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with APIs and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Enterprise Account Executives to shape deal strategy, drive discovery conversations, and deliver high-impact demonstrations that influence executive-level decisions.
• Showcase Motive’s value by tailoring demos that resonate across technical, operational, and business audiences.
• Translate complex customer challenges into clear, compelling solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Develop deep expertise in the competitive landscape and assist in strategic displacement opportunities.
• Establish yourself as a product authority—master today’s platform and shape future innovations.
• Collaborate on RFIs and RFPs to position Motive as the partner of choice for Enterprise organizations.
• Act as a visible connector between Sales and cross-functional teams to fuel continuous improvement and innovation.
