Pinecone is seeking a Solutions Engineer to work with enterprise customers and channel partners, translating business needs into Pinecone solutions. You will demonstrate Pinecone technology, perform proofs of concepts, and help drive designs and implementations throughout the sales cycle.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in a customer-facing pre-sales role, strong SQL and analytics skills, and broad cloud platform knowledge (AWS, Azure, GCP). A CS/engineering/math degree is preferred.

Competenze

• 5–7 years of enterprise experience in a customer- and prospect-facing pre-sales role.
• Outstanding presenting skills to both technical and executive audiences.
• Broad experience with large-scale Database and/or Data Warehouse tech, ETL, analytics and cloud technologies.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL and SQL analytics.
• Ability to connect customer business problems to Pinecone solutions.
• Broad knowledge of cloud platforms; AWS, Azure & GCP preferred.
• University degree in CS/engineering/math or related field or equivalent experience.
• Skills in Data Science and Data Applications Development; Scala, Python and JavaScript a bonus.

Mansioni

• Present Pinecone technology and vision to officials and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Work hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate Pinecone's value through the sales cycle.
• Stay informed about the industry, understand competitive technologies, and position Pinecone accordingly.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering and Marketing to improve Pinecone's products and marketing.
