Job summary

Okta is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer (Enterprise Pre-Sales) to act as the trusted technical advisor to our largest enterprise customers. You will anchor the technical sales cycle by linking Okta's platform to meaningful business outcomes and work closely with Enterprise Account Executives.

Qualifications

• Recent, proven experience in a customer-facing Pre-Sales role with quota attainment.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.
• Ability to learn new enterprise technologies rapidly.
• Broad understanding of Identity Security including SAML, OIDC, and Zero Trust.

Responsibilities

• Master the Discovery Process to uncover customer pain points and map them to business outcomes.
• Translate complex concepts into clear business value for CISOs, IT leaders, and architects.
• Differentiate Okta's platform and articulate differentiators in large enterprise cycles.
• Pioneer AI visibility by guiding customers on unmanaged AI agents and risk.
• Drive technical evaluations and close deals by tying capabilities to breach protection and resilience.
• Be a trusted advisor with expertise in Identity Security and modern authentication standards.
