Job summary

SBV seeks an experienced professional to lead business case development, stakeholder analysis, and enterprise initiatives. You will design future-state processes, manage governance, and partner with stakeholders across IT, business, and operations to drive value and conformity to standards.

Responsibilities include refining requirements, leading cross-domain analysis, and ensuring delivery aligns with approved business cases while supporting change programs and governance forums.

Qualifications

• 7 years’ experience in solution analysis or senior business analysis.
• 3 years of experience in a functional or business consulting role
• 4 years of experience in Integration Systems
• Proven experience leading business cases and enterprise initiatives.
• Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Analysis, or related field.
• Advanced Business Analysis or strategy-related certifications: Advantageous
• Six sigma certification or similar

Responsibilities

• Analyse and document requirements and use appropriate techniques to refine, review and validate requirements.
• Define and gain agreement on project budgets, ensure projects track to the budget.
• Lead enterprise-scale business problem definition across business units.
• Ensure clarity of objectives, outcomes, constraints, and success measures.
• Investigate assumptions and ensure requirements are outcome-driven and value-focused.
• Own and review complex, cross-domain business cases.
• Guide options analysis, benefits modelling, and trade-off decisions.
• Support executive and governance forums with decision-quality insights
• Lead end-to-end value chain analysis across systems and business domains.
• Define integrated future-state processes that optimise efficiency, control, and customer outcomes.
• Drive standardisation, reuse, and simplification at enterprise level.
• Translate future-state processes into functional solution designs, including system behaviour, integrations, and data flows.
• Ensure solution feasibility and alignment with enterprise principles.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability across process, requirement, and solution artefacts.
• Support delivery teams through design walkthroughs, testing, and validation.
• Translate strategic objectives into execution-ready solution definitions.
• Evaluate solution trade-offs across cost, risk, complexity, and scalability.
• Ensure solutions remain aligned to approved business cases through delivery.
• Test all solution aspects, including but not limited to acceptance, security, performance, and integration.
• Provide input in iteration meetings (planning meetings, daily standup).
• Implement adequate levels of solution governance that are fit for purpose whilst supporting solution delivery.
• Proactively engage with departments on governance and processes to manage change requests.
• Participate in Change Board interactions and ensure compliance with all ICT policies and procedures.
• Maintain effective communication and regular engagement with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with commercial, UX, technology, support, testing, and other SMEs to analyse user needs and requirements.
• Maintain timeliness in accordance with SLAs.
• Responsible for the review of vendor engagements.
• Mentor and develop Level 1 and 2 Solutions Analysts.
• Define standards, templates, and quality benchmarks for analysis and business case development.
• Continuously uplift solution analysis maturity.
• Plan and prioritise competing demands, demonstrating the ability to manage them
• Protect and maintain the confidentiality of critical business systems and data.
• Adhere to SBV's development standards and principles.
• Subscribe and align to SBV Services' ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Standards, ensuring the department’s processes and quality management system is at all times in compliance with the standard.
• Support SBVs ESG journey, reporting on and managing the ESG requirements to ensure a positive reflection and outcome.
• Lead as an Ambassador and executor of Change.
• Act as a change management architect in periods of change to ensure business continuity.
• Manage the integration of business units into a seamless end to end solution for customers.
• Effectively communicate and embed new processes and procedures as they occur, addressing or escalating matters/ concerns to the SME’s (subject matter experts) when required.
• Facilitate the necessary presentations, workshops, or forums to ensure consistent and accurate communication is given across one’s portfolio.
