Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Principal Architect, Security Architecture in Minnesota to drive enterprise cybersecurity architecture. You will translate business strategy and regulatory obligations into practical security architectures across cloud, data, identity, and applications.

The role requires influencing across domains and simplifying security while shaping platform strategy. As a senior leader, you will collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Defense, and engineering teams to embed

Qualifications

12+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity architecture or related fields.
Demonstrated ability to architect across multiple security domains.
Strong cloud security, identity, data protection, and app security knowledge.
Experience with Zero Trust and secure software development practices.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve enterprise cybersecurity architecture aligned with business strategy and risk appetite.
Establish architecture principles, reference architectures, and technical standards.
Translate Zero Trust principles across identity, applications, workloads, networks, data, and cloud.
Lead architecture reviews for strategic platforms, cloud environments, and data environments.
Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to embed cybersecurity in overall tech strategy.
Drive security architecture across cloud, data/AI, applications, APIs, and platform engineering.
