Job summary

Cencora in the United States seeks a Principal Architect, Cybersecurity to define and govern enterprise security architecture across Cloud, Data, AI, Applications, and Identity. This senior role collaborates with domain teams and engineers to translate strategy and risk into practical patterns and secure platforms.

You will influence technology direction, drive multi-year roadmaps, and ensure secure landing zones, CI/CD, and secure software supply chains.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity architecture or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated ability to architect across multiple security domains.
• Strong knowledge of cloud and modern enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve enterprise cybersecurity architecture aligned with strategy and risk.
• Establish security principles, reference architectures and standards.
• Lead or influence security architecture reviews for platforms, cloud, applications and data environments.
• Translate threat intelligence into architecture improvements and patterning.
• Ensure architecture is implementable with engineering teams.
