Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Principal Architect - Cybersecurity to lead and govern enterprise security architecture across Cloud, Data, AI, and applications. You will translate business strategy and risk into practical security patterns, standards, and roadmaps that reduce risk.

The role spans identity, data, API security, and platform engineering, collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed security into landing zones, IaC, CI/CD, and modern cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience including cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, or related technology disciplines.
• Experience designing security solutions within large, complex enterprise environments.
• Ability to communicate complex technical subjects to engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the enterprise cybersecurity architecture aligned with business strategy and risk appetite.
• Lead or influence security architecture reviews for strategic platforms and cloud environments.
• Drive cloud, data, AI, and application security patterns and practices across domains.
