Job summary

AEG in Los Angeles is seeking a Security Architect to join the Information Security team. Reporting to the VP of Information Security, you will design and implement secure architectures across cloud, on‑premises, and hybrid environments, partnering with IT, venues, and development teams to reduce risk.

The ideal candidate has 8–10 years in information security with hands‑on security architecture, IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and experience with Azure/AWS/GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; master's preferred.
• 8-10 years in information security with at least 5 years in security architecture or related leadership.
• Experience designing secure enterprise solutions across on‑prem, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Hands‑on with IAM, network segmentation, encryption, logging/monitoring, and SSDLC.
• Experience creating security standards, reference architectures, and secure design guidance.
• Ability to perform risk assessments, threat modeling, and security reviews for enterprise systems.
• Proven ability to work with engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, WAFs, IAM, endpoint protection, cloud tools, and SIEM/SOAR.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security architecture standards, reference architectures, and design patterns.
• Lead security architecture reviews and provide risk‑based recommendations for major initiatives.
• Partner with IT, Development, Infrastructure, and PMO to align security requirements.
• Provide guidance to ensure secure deployment and operational practices in cloud and SaaS.
• Incorporate threat intelligence and threat modeling into architecture decisions.
