Job summary

AEG in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Information Security Technical Project Manager (Temporary) to lead high-impact cybersecurity initiatives across domains such as threat detection, data protection, and regulatory compliance. You will partner with Information Security, IT, Legal, and business units to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

The role demands a hands-on leader with experience managing SIEM projects, vulnerability remediation, IAM deployments, and security technology

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in information systems, computer science, cybersecurity, business administration, or related field.
• 8–10 years of project management experience in cybersecurity or technology risk environments.
• Experience with security domains such as SOC, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, GRC, Data Protection, and regulatory frameworks (NIST, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
• Experience coordinating cross-functional technical initiatives in a matrixed enterprise.
• Experience coordinating security tools, cloud security initiatives, or enterprise technology deployments.
• Certifications such as PMP, Security+, CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex cybersecurity projects (e.g., SIEM implementations, vulnerability remediation, IAM deployments).
• Drive engagement between security domain leaders and cross-functional teams to align with requirements.
• Prepare and present detailed status reports and briefings to senior leadership.
• Maintain and report project metrics, milestones, blockers, and schedules.
• Engage vendors throughout the project lifecycle and ensure solutions meet security requirements.
