Job summary

Health Management Associates is seeking an Information Security Architect to design, implement, and govern the organization’s security framework across on-premises and cloud environments. This role involves developing and enforcing security policies, ensuring the protection of sensitive data, and mitigating security risks across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of security architecture, frameworks, risk management, and threat assessment.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience securing Azure and/or AWS environments.
• Knowledge of identity, network, workload, data, application, and endpoint security controls.
• Experience with EDR platforms, malware investigation, threat hunting, and incident response.
• Knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, encryption, FortiGate/FortiManager, and related controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and govern security architecture for on-premises and cloud environments, including identity, network, workload, and data-protection controls.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies, standards, guidelines, and architecture principles.
• Lead security assessments, audits, penetration testing, vulnerability reviews, and risk-based mitigation strategies.
• Conduct threat monitoring and incident response planning, including malware analysis and forensic investigations.
• Evaluate, recommend, and maintain security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, endpoint security).
• Provide security guidance for AI-enabled systems, governance, and vendor/model risk management.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, GDPR, and related standards; support audits and DR/BC planning.
