Job summary

Israel Discount Bank of New York (IDB Bank) is seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Management Officer to drive governance modernization, executive risk reporting, ICAAP support, and risk framework development. The role oversees Policy & Procedure governance, ERP committee work, and GRC operations in a hybrid NYC setting.

Responsibilities include coordinating CRO and EPS reporting, advancing the AI risk framework, and supervising Archer GRC administration with cross‑functional collaboration

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Computer Science/Data, or related field; MBA/MS or certifications preferred.
• 7–10+ years of enterprise risk management or regulatory governance experience within banking, capital markets, or financial services for VP level; more for senior roles.
• Hands-on administration or functional experience with RSA Archer GRC (Policy, Issue Management, Risk modules).
• Advanced proficiency in SharePoint architecture and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Deep understanding of enterprise risk concepts and Three Lines of Defense; exceptional written communication and cross‑functional coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Policy & Procedure Governance Framework modernization and lifecycle management using RSA Archer and SharePoint.
• Coordinate and dispatch monthly CRO reports and lead end-to-end EPS report production; liaise with Internal Audit, Finance, Strategy, and Broker-Dealer subsidiaries.
• Support ICAAP with Building Blocks framework and review capital stress model methodologies and documentation.
• Represent ERM in AI risk framework working group and contribute to cross-functional risk projects and regulatory remediation tasks.
• Oversee Issue Management and Archer GRC administration, optimize workflows, and manage system enhancements.
